Integrative nutrition for a healthy gut
let’s get to the root of your IBS symptoms!

My name is Katelyn and I am a dietitian with a passion for digestive health and integrative nutrition. I can help you make sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes so you can find relief from your digestive symptoms and get back to your life!

I believe that access to nutrition counseling/coaching should be both affordable and convenient, which is why I offer virtual sessions via phone or secure video chat. Contact me to learn more about working with me.

When I was nine years old, I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance and a variety of food allergies. I wanted to know more about what was going on inside of my body, so I consulted the internet (AOL back then) and read every article I could find about these conditions. This was my first experience with nutrition “research” and the beginning of an insatiable curiosity about nutrition.

My early interest in nutrition and health evolved into a passion during college when I was finally diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). I started playing around with my diet and was amazed at how strong of an influence food had on my IBS symptoms and other aspects of my health. I had always wanted to help others, but going through the difficult task of changing my diet solidified my desire to study nutrition and become a dietitian.

Even though I am now a registered dietitian, I will never stop learning. I stay on the cutting edge of nutrition practice by reading the latest research, listening to podcasts from some of the best in the field, and attending conferences for healthcare professionals. I am also continually pursuing advanced training in integrative and functional nutrition.

The best part about being a dietitian is that there are so many different ways to help people! Not only do I work with people on an individual level to help them optimize their health through food, I also work with companies to help provide evidence-based nutrition and health information to the public.
