At the age of 19, I began my journey into alternative medicine in a very personal way. After many years of living with terrible abdominal pain and fatigue, I was finally diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. Many medical doctors told me that the condition could never be cured. This prognosis led me to my first encounter with alternative medicine. A naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist not only completely cured me of my Crohn’s disease, but also educated and inspired me to pursue my own path into alternative medicine. Ever since that day, I have dedicated my life to helping others restore their own health. I truly believe that your body has an innate ability to heal itself. It sometimes just needs to be reminded of that ability.
