I spent 12 years as the Medical Nutrition Therapist at the Seattle Arthritis Clinic at Northwest Hospital/University of Washington Medicine specializing in autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. In 2018, I left my position at TSAC to focus on my private practice, FoodLogic. I received my Master's degree in Nutrition Science from Bastyr University, the leading university in natural and alternative medicineI. I received my Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certification in order to learn about more traditional methods of Western care. Having both alternative and traditional training in nutrition has been critical in helping me understand the gap that must be bridged between these two perspectives.
