Megan Taylor ND

Hello and welcome! I graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM, previously NCNM) with a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, and completed two years of post-graduate residency training in Primary Care and Naturopathic Gastroenterology. I came to Naturopathic Medicine after a career in Environmental Planning, which I loved, but left me wanting a deeper sense of meaning and connection in my work. Being a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) provides me with just that! I feel so grateful to have found a career that allows me to not only engage my intellectual curiosity, but also my love and care for others. I believe that we are here to heal each other (ok, I stole that from a yogi tea bag, but it's true!), and it is my personal and professional goal to move towards presence, vitality, and a deeply embodied sense of peace.

A few things that have shaped who I am: I grew up in Seattle, Washington, and despite taking root in this world among the evergreens and rain soaked moss, I love the desert and the bright blue sky and low-lying prickly shrubs. I enjoy my family and my neighborhood, and all growing things, including children and plants. When I teach, I am filled with a sense of deep satisfaction. I spend my free time reading Mary Oliver, getting my hands in the dirt, and laughing as much as possible. It is my work to be gentle with myself, and to choose quiet being over active doing.
